Hank is an assistant that lives inside Salesforce. Staff ask questions about their data in plain language, and Hank answers, draws charts, and helps keep the data clean. Introduce organizations that use Salesforce to Hank and earn 25% of what they pay for their first 12 months.

How it works
Join
Fill in a short form: your name, company, email, and U.S. mailing address. It's free and there's no approval step. Sign in once with the code we email you, and your referral link is live.
Add your payout details
On your dashboard's Payout details page, add the U.S. bank account we'll pay you by ACH and a signed IRS Form W-9. You can do this any time before your first payout; commission you earn in the meantime is kept for you.
Introduce organizations
Share your referral link, and anyone who visits Hank's website through it is remembered for 90 days. Talking with an organization directly? Register an introduction on your dashboard and it's yours for 90 days, even if they later arrive through someone else's link. They can also type your referral code when they subscribe.
They subscribe
When the organization subscribes to any Hank plan, the referral is credited to you and appears on your dashboard by name.
They connect Salesforce
Commission is held until the organization connects its Salesforce org to Hank. That's how Hank confirms it's a new customer, and it usually happens in their first days.
You earn every month
You earn 25% of each payment they make for their first 12 months, after card processing fees and refunds. Each amount is held 30 days after it's earned, then becomes payable.
You get paid
Early each month we send everything that became payable by the end of the previous month, by ACH, once your balance is at least $50. Smaller balances carry over.
What you can earn
Examples for one referred organization, at the standard U.S. card processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ a payment). Actual amounts depend on the fees on each payment, discounts, refunds, and plan changes. Upgrades raise your commission automatically.

The rules in brief
What earns
Subscription payments, monthly or annual, for 12 months from the organization's first payment. Annual payments are spread over 12 months. The 12 months end on schedule, whatever happens in between.
What doesn't
Question packs. Organizations that have had Hank before, even through a new account. Your own organization. Existing Visios consulting clients. Payments after an organization cancels.
Refunds and holds
Each amount is held 30 days and until the organization connects Salesforce. If money is refunded, the commission on it comes back, from your next earnings if it was already paid.

Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Joining is free, and there's nothing to buy.
Do I need to be a Hank customer?
No. Anyone with a U.S. mailing address and a U.S. bank account can join. Hank customers are welcome too; your own organization just doesn't earn commission.
How do I know a referral was credited?
It shows on your dashboard as soon as the organization subscribes, with its status: waiting for Salesforce, earning (and until when), canceled, or not eligible and why.
What if two affiliates refer the same organization?
A registered introduction comes first: the first affiliate to register an organization owns it for 90 days. Otherwise the most recent referral link they visited within 90 days is credited, and a typed referral code counts only if there's neither.
When will I be paid?
Early each month, for commission that became payable by the end of the previous month. Each amount is payable 30 days after it's earned, once the organization has connected Salesforce. Payouts start once your balance reaches $50 and your bank account and W-9 are on file.
What happens if an organization cancels or gets a refund?
Commission stops when an organization cancels; months an annual subscriber already paid for still count. If money is refunded, the commission on it is taken back. If it was already paid to you, the same amount comes off your next earnings.
Do annual plans pay up front?
No. The commission on an annual payment is spread evenly over 12 months, and each month is earned in its month.
What about taxes?
You take part as an independent contractor and handle your own taxes. If we pay you $600 or more in a calendar year, we send you a Form 1099-NEC using your W-9.
Can I change my bank account later?
Yes, on your dashboard's Payout details page. We email you every time your payout details change, so you'd know about a change you didn't make.
What should I tell people about Hank?
Describe it honestly, using what's on the Hank website, and let people know you earn a commission when you recommend it.
