Ask Salesforce questions

Ask Salesforce questions in plain English

You don't need to know where Salesforce keeps it. Hank does.

Ask the way you'd ask a coworker, then narrow it down as you go.

How Hank finds the answer

Hank figures out where the information lives in your Salesforce, looks it up as you, and gives you the answer first. Then he adds the few details that matter and a plain note of what he checked.

If you ask something he can't see, he says so plainly. If an answer is one you'll want again, save it as a live view: it refreshes with current information every time you open it.

Frequently asked questions

Can Hank answer questions about our Salesforce data?

Yes. Hank looks up the answer in your Salesforce and shows what he checked. He only uses information the person asking is already allowed to see.

Do I need to know Salesforce to use Hank?

No. Hank is built so everyday users can ask in the language of their job, like donors, customers, deals, or programs. Hank handles the Salesforce part.

Does Hank replace Salesforce reports and dashboards?

No. Keep the reports and dashboards you rely on. Hank is for the everyday questions that don't need a permanent report, and you can save an answer as a live view that updates itself.

Can Hank see things people shouldn't?

No. Hank works as the person asking, so he sees exactly what they can already see in Salesforce and nothing more.

Just ask Hank.
