When someone asks Hank a question
- The question goes from Salesforce to the Visios service over an encrypted connection.
- Hank decides what to look up. Salesforce runs each lookup as the person asking, using their own access.
- The results go to our AI provider (Anthropic) so Hank can write the answer. Your data isn't used to train AI models.
- The answer comes back to Salesforce. Visios doesn't store the question, the results, or the answer.
When Hank suggests a change
Nothing changes until a person approves it. Changes are made as that person, and every approved change is recorded in your org with the value before and after and who approved it.
What's kept, and where
- In your Salesforce org: saved conversations (questions and Hank's written answers only), live views, proposals, and the activity log. Unsaved conversations are deleted after a period your admin sets.
- At Visios: your account, billing status, connected orgs, and usage counts. No Salesforce records.
Connecting Salesforce
Visios never logs into your Salesforce. The Hank package calls out to Visios; there's no connected app and no Salesforce password or token stored at Visios. An admin connects the org with a one-time code, and can disconnect it any time.
Service providers
- Anthropic: the AI model that writes Hank's answers.
- Vercel: hosts the Hank website, portal, and the service Salesforce talks to.
- Neon: the database for account, billing status, and usage information.
- Stripe: payments and invoices.
- Resend: sign-in, invitation, and account emails.
